Collect + Project Life album
Back in November, I shared my daughter's fun little Collect/Project Life album and I wanted to report that she is still going strong on this project. It's such a quick and easy thing to keep up with and she loves the results. (Me too!)
She simply adds a photo (or other image) to her Collect App each day and types in a little description to go with it. Then she exports the prints at the end of the month and I send them to Persnickety Prints for printing.
We have them printed as 3x4 Photographic Prints and they arrive all ready to slip into these Project Life pocket pages. We like the Premium Matte finish and they always turn out so nice! We usually get a few months printed at a time and after this last batch, she now has 13 months of her life recorded in a way that is easy and meaningful to her.
I love seeing what she chooses to document. She has such a fun outlook on life!
It's just awesome to see them all in an album together. She uses the 6x8 albums from Becky Higgins and has now filled an entire volume. She will be starting album #2 with her 2015 photos. If you are wondering how many can fit in an album, she put 396 photos in one book (50 page protectors) and probably could have fit a few more pages, but decided that she wanted to do an album a year for all the following years. Her first album has 13 months in it since she started this project on December 1, 2013.
his is a great form of memory keeping for anyone. You don't have to have any special skills other than taking a picture each day and typing a few words to go with it. I'm so happy that my daughter is doing this fun project. It's a treasure!
