For me, 4 is the perfect number of photos to put together a great collage. I shared several of these on my Instagram account during my recent trip to Europe, but I wanted to put them all together here and talk about why I chose the Diptic app to compose these. While there are several apps that will allow you to put together a foursome of photos (including Becky Higgins' Project Life app), Diptic is my favorite choice because it exports at the highest resolution which is important when it comes to printing. It's easy to use and you can import photos from facebook, flickr, instagram, dropbox, or your own phone photos. And it's available for both iPhone and Android! It's also available for Windows and Mac systems, but I only use the mobile app.
Here are my four photo collage recaps from our adventure:
Strasbourg, France (the word art is from the InstaPlace app)
Heidelberg, Germany (also used the Instaplace app)
Koblenz & Marksburg Germany
Castle in Marksburg
Luxembourg (another Instaplace app photo on this one as well)
I'm going to put each one of these collages in my photobook about the trip. They are scrapbook pages that are already finished and I will pair them with other layouts to tell the story of our travels. I love the simplicity of collages!
