Digital Scrapbook Day is coming...
I'm so glad my awesome friend Steph pointed out this announcement to me or I might have missed it! Digital Scrapbooking Day is usually the first Saturday in November but it has now been moved up to the first Saturday in October.
Here's the post from the official Facebook page:
At the request of multiple members of the digital scrapbooking community, we have decided to move Digital Scrapbooking Day up to the first Saturday in October, rather than the first Saturday in November, as in previous years. That's in just over two weeks!!
Moving the day up a month will allow digital designers and shop owners to offer better resources and celebration opportunities, which makes the day more fun for everyone! The countdown to DSD 2016, October 1st, is on! Spread the word!
Personally, I think it's a great move! As a designer, it was always tough to have DSD just a few weeks before Black Friday and have customers hoping for new releases and sales for each event. I love the change and feel like it really coincides with when people are digging in on scrapbook projects as they settle back into school year routines and also prepare for upcoming holiday gifts.
What do you think? I'd love to know!
