Scrapping with the Seasons - February edition
Throughout this year, I’m challenging myself to play along with a goal for seasonal scrapbooking. I plan to scrap with the seasons this year. What does that mean? Well, for me it is easy to get motivated to create pages around the themes that I am currently thinking about. In February, that happens to be love and Valentines. The twist is that I won’t only focus on those subjects in the here and now of 2019, but I will go back through my old February photo files from the past as well. It’s a fun and creative way for me to approach the never-ending dream of getting “caught up” on memory keeping.
I’ll start off with some past layouts that center around these themes. The funny thing is that I don’t have many layouts about Valentine’s Day. We generally don’t do a lot to celebrate it and I usually just end up including the picture or two I do take with my monthly roundup layout. I do have a few to share though.
Here’s one of Valentine’s Day in 1997. It was the first time our daughter tried solid food so we took pictures. ❤️
I did a Google Photos search for Valentine’s Day and it pulled up this layout from August of 2014. I’m counting it! It has a love theme - lol ❤️
Here’s a layout from 2011 about the technology I was loving at that time.
I’ve decided that I definitely need to go back through some of my old photos and paper layouts of when my kids were little and make some Valentine pages. I also got excited when I ran across these fun photos from 2010 and couldn’t wait to make a page with them.
I’ve got some catching up to do on my lovey dovey layouts. I’m excited to use more of the pieces from my Full Heart mega pocket card collection. If you are looking for a versatile Valentine kit, be sure to check it out!
