My own Amazon page

I've used from the beginning and I became an affiliate in the very early days that such a program was offered. I recommend products on Amazon when they are something that I like and have used for myself. I've never done a lot to promote my Amazon affiliation but I always appreciate when someone uses one of my links because I get a small percentage of the sale and I use that to purchase items that contribute to this blog's content. Honestly, I don't make much from these sales, but it's enough to order some creative books and supplies. Mostly, I just like giving my readers a direct link to something I'm blogging about. I do that with all my posts and I link to all sorts of sites and products that I have no affiliate relationship with.

I'm sure many of you have noticed that my blog doesn't have advertisements. I don't use banner ads or even text ads. I could do a lot to monetize my blog, but I don't because 1) I don't want to spend the time and effort to do this and 2) I really only want to blog about things I like, use, and believe in. The nice thing about using Amazon's affiliate program is that I can just link to the products I like and I don't have to mess around with sponsored content and required giveaways and contests.

I was happy to receive an invitation from the Amazon affiliate program a few weeks ago to create my own Amazon landing page with a custom URL. Now I have my own little home on Amazon where I can feature my favorite products. I hope you will check it out!

I'll be adding more items to this page over time and I will continue to limit my choices to products that I have personally used and loved.
