Art journaling spread with an important lesson

I recently watched an online lesson from Deepak Chopra about how to handle inner and external chaos. It was something that I wasn’t expecting to be so helpful and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how much I have used these 4 sentences to get myself through chaotic situations.

What am I observing? (Non judgmentally) It’s important to simply identify what is happening without placing judgment on it. This is harder than it seems.

Staying creative when things are crazy

My life has really been crazy this year. We’ve had some significant illnesses, injuries, challenges, changes, and just all sorts of random things that have popped up. It’s really always been that way (life usually keeps us on our toes) but it feels like it’s been a bit of a pile on lately. Even with all of that, we are all still OK and that’s what matters at the end of the day.

Susan Branch cookbook gift for the bride

One of my most cherished possessions is the cookbook my mom gave me when I got married. She hand wrote my favorite recipes in it and I still use that book to this day. I love seeing her handwriting and I wanted to give that same kind of gift to my own daughter when she got married. I was excited to find this beautiful Susan Branch keepsake cookbook on amazon and I've spent the last few months writing out recipes to fill it up.

For the love of Letterboards

When letterboards starting popping up all over the internet a few years ago, I immediately wanted one. I waited for about a year and then finally gave in. They are a little on the pricey side and as I suspected at the time, they are a little time intensive as well. I still love mine though and it's fun to be able to post cool messages to make our house a little more fun.
