Gratitude In The Season - A December Project
My regular readers know that Steph Clay of Modern Photo Solutions is one of my all time besties and that I'm regularly inspired by her. I've been a fan of her December gratitude project for the last few years and I'm finally joining in this time.
Steph has a fabulous guest post on Becky Higgins's blog that will give you all the details about how she started and why she continues on with this meaningful project. Be sure to take a few minutes to read it. You will be inspired!
You will also want to follow her on Instagram so you can see how she is keeping her daily gratitude exercise simple and beautiful.
I'm going to be playing along in my own way. I'm not going to do a page each day, but I am going to aim for having at least one photo + at least one journaling or filler card for each day. I will put these on a 12x12 Project Life page (using the PL app) and keep filling those pages throughout the month. That way I can include those layouts in our regular annual photobook instead of having a separate album. I decided that's what would work best for me, but there is no wrong approach on this. I personally love the 6x8 size that Steph has chosen for her album this year. There are so many fun options!
I will be sharing a lot of my project on my Instagram account and I will also do a blog post later in the month to share how it all turned out. I will be using Steph's hashtag of #gratitudeintheseason to tag all of my posts.
I'm looking forward to focusing on the joy and gratitude of this season. How about you? Any plans for documenting December? I'd love to hear what you are doing!
