Documenting Senior Year
I shared this photo yesterday on my Instagram account, but so many people liked the idea that I wanted to post about it here. I totally fell in love with the hashtag sign idea after seeing it in this post over at The Daily Digi. Hashtags are definitely having their moment in the sun and I’m sure my daughter will always associate them with her high school years since that is when they became part of our everyday lives. Love them or hate them, they are so 2014.
I wanted to do something special to mark the first day of her senior year because this is an important milestone. It’s a big year for her! It’s also pretty amazing for me since I’m not homeschooling her AND she can drive herself back and forth to school each day. Yay!
I have a lot of ideas for capturing the memories of this coming year and we are both excited to use some more hashtag signs in the upcoming months. I’ve got my eye out for scrapbook projects related to high school seniors and I have been thrilled when some of my digi friends have even sent me links to some great ones. Here are a few that are really inspiring me:
- Cathy Zielske’s graduation book for Aidan. I adore this!
- Stacy Julian’s 180 days project for Clark. So very meaningful.

If you have any other links or tips to share with me, I’d love to know!
