Another month has come and gone and it's time to take a few minutes to roundup your memories from the month of February. My longtime followers will know that I've been doing monthly memory roundups since January of 2006. I've always loved to tell our family stories in our scrapbooks, but I'm feeling an almost urgent need to be sure I've told my own life story and have it documented. I guess that is all part of getting older? I know it is also stemming from my newfound love of family history. When I look at the dates and details of my ancestors, I really just long to know their stories!

Memory Monday origins and evolution

Back on January 12th of 2009, I introduced a new series here on my blog and called it Memory Monday. This was long before Instagram and a month before I was on Twitter. I didn't know what a hashtag was back then and I had never heard of Memory Monday. I just thought I was being clever with alliteration. I went back through all my old Memory Monday posts (I have them saved in a Word document) recently and it was fun to see how this theme has evolved for me over the years.
