Hi. I’m still here. I bet you didn’t even know I was gone for a bit. I’ve been out of town for a week helping my daughter with a few things and getting in a nice visit with her and her husband. Alex came along as well (broken leg and all). We are back for a somewhat routine week of our lives that seem to be anything but routine these days. Then we will go have a short spring break trip to sunny California at the end of the month. We are so ready for that!  We have had a prolific winter this year in Utah and not much of a spring yet. I found this graphic on the Utah Weather Facebook page. Even St. George, which is known for being warm and sunny has had a tough few months. Crazy!

The Facebook post said this - The 2019 calendar year has started off on a very wet note. Although precipitation seems to be endless across the north the past few weeks, a drying trend has set in across the south and east. As the storm track moves northward the next several weeks northern Utah should also see a drying trend. However, a heat wave would not be welcomed as the excessive snow pack needs to melt off in an orderly fashion otherwise there will be potential for flooding.
