December layouts and projects

December has so many great opportunities for festive photos and memories. Even though I’m not out shopping (online baby!) and going to events this year, I’m still feeling the spirit of the season by working on fun projects at home. I’ll be documenting those memories as well, but I also am taking advantage of this time to delve into some past folders of photos and do some scrapbooking. I’ve been having fun with my new December Moments collection.

For this layout I used:

December Moments Template Set

December Moments Paper Pack

December Moments Stamp Set

December Moments Pocket Cards

Another great way to get creative with digital supplies is to use them for making recipe pages. If you are planning on giving anyone a recipe binder or homemade cookbook as a gift this year, this is a great addition. If you give a binder, you don’t even have to fill it all the way, just print out some recipes for future holidays as well and keep adding to it.

I just typed up the recipe in Microsoft Word and then copied and pasted it inside Photoshop Elements and added a photo. Then I added the fun stripe paper from the December Moments Paper Pack for a little pizazz. The font I used for the recipe is Proxima Nova.

Riley decided to make herself a December planner/journal and used papers from the December Moments Paper Pack and a cute (and free!) font called Cookie to create these planner pages.

She added one of the stamps from December Moments Stamp Set to this page. And this is her new puppy. Her name is Piper and she is darling! I can’t wait to meet her!

I’m excited to work on some more December projects. I hope you are carving out some fun creative time for yourself as well!
