My April Roundup
I finished my April Roundup page over the weekend and I’m glad to have these details recorded for our memory books. Sometimes it’s really tough to document the difficult news, but there were also bright spots as well and I want to remember both sides of the equation. As a household, we are now all fully vaccinated and it sure feels good!
Here are the “ingredients” of my page:
Big Story template - altered
Paper from my new Color Stories Black & White paper pack
Graphics from The Washington Post
Blank card and numbers template for Utah statistics
Keeping track of what happened:
I’ve been keeping a daily news journal in my notes app on my Apple devices. I just jot down a few headlines or important tidbits each day. Now it’s become a small daily habit for me that doesn’t take much time.
We barely did anything and hardly went anywhere so I didn’t have much to look through on my calendar.
Unfortunately, I only took a handful of photos this month. I’ve got to find ways to get inspired again with daily photography. It’s difficult to do that when you don’t really do anything different, but I need to remember it’s good to capture the everyday routine of this time in photos.
My roundup prompts and graphic are in this post if you want to use them for your own monthly roundup. If you share on instagram, be sure to use the hashtag #memoryroundup so I can see your post!
