Guess what I'm getting for my birthday this year?

Today is my birthday! I’m turning 52 years old today and that is a very good thing because that means I made with through the last year. Birthdays are blessings! This one feels extra special because I’m also getting my Covid-19 vaccine today. Such a great gift!

Our daughter is also getting her vaccine today (in another city). My husband is getting his later this week and our son is getting his later this month. We all qualify because of age and/or medical conditions. My son-in-law still has to wait. It’s such a relief to get to this point and I can’t wait until our entire family is fully vaccinated. I plan to document our experiences with the vaccines and I’m going to record which one each of our family members receives.

Other than that, I’m going to enjoy a pretty laid-back birthday. We are going to order door dash delivery for dinner and I plan to have some gluten-free birthday cake. I’m not going put too much on my schedule tomorrow in case I’m sore from the shot. Alex and I are planning some shows to binge watch. Might as well take advantage of a reason to take a day off.
