How to document your everyday life with meaningful words and photos

Four years ago, I created a video tutorial about one of my favorite subjects: documenting everyday life. It's a topic I've been passionate about for a long time, and I thought it would be fun to share this video again for anyone who might have missed it the first time around.

I love memory keeping, and while digital scrapbooking is one of my favorite ways to preserve memories, there are so many other ways to document our lives. The important thing is finding an approach that works for you and helps you capture the people, places, experiences, and everyday details you want to remember.

In this video, I share ideas for combining words and photos to tell meaningful stories. You'll see examples of different ways to document your life, along with plenty of inspiration for noticing and recording the little things that make each day unique.

October's theme of A Sense of Wonder is a good reminder of why I enjoy memory keeping so much. Looking through photographs, writing down memories, and paying attention to the details of daily life often helps me appreciate things I might otherwise overlook. I hope this video gives you a few ideas for documenting your own everyday life, whether you enjoy scrapbooking, journaling, photography, or simply collecting memories in whatever way works best for you.

And if you enjoy the video, I'd love to have you subscribe to my YouTube channel for more memory keeping and creative tutorials!
