July Focus: Play

Hello July! I’m excited to dive into this month, and explore the them of play. You might think this topic only applies to kids or those with children in their lives, but I believe everyone should have a form of play to bring joy into everyday life. Think of it as an invitation to loosen up a little. We are in the heat of summer in the northern hemisphere and that has a playful energy to it. July is the perfect time to look for joy in fun moments and simple pleasures.

Play does not have to look like toys or structured activities. It can be anything that helps you relax, laugh, or explore without pressure. Take a walk with no destination. Start a creative project just because it sounds fun. The point is to have fun! Notice what brings a smile to your face. Look for the things that help you unwind. Play is often found in the little moments of life that make everything else feel easier and more joyful.
