Postcard Board

I love collage boards and have used them in several different places in the homes we’ve lived in. I started this practice long ago when I put a giant bulletin board up in our kitchen when my kids were preschool age (circa 1999). I need to dig through my photos and find that!

Now that we are in a new home, it was time to reinvent the postcard board that used to hang above Alex’s desk in our last house. Now, this board showcases our Disney postcard collection and it will live in our Disney themed guest bedroom.

I shared 2 videos about this project on my Toy the World Instagram feed since it is a Disney project.

Here’s the process video

and here’s the finished project video

I decided it was worth sharing here because it’s such a great way to display memories of any type. Postcards and photos work especially well for this type of project. And speaking of photos… I’m currently working on a new photo board for the office Alex and I share in our new home. I’ll post about that soon!

I just love having memories on display!
