Are you a rectangle scrapbooker?

There are many scrapbookers who love a rectangle page format - meaning a standard 8.5x11 paper size. These types of layouts fit in binder-style scrapbooks and are very versatile. Many love this size because it’s easy to print at home. While I’m usually a square scrapper (12x12 or smaller size), I also love having the option for letter size scrapbooking. I especially used this format when working with my kids back in our homeschool days. There are so many options for this size of page and now I have some standard size templates in my shop!

I named the first set Modern Standards and I have so many ideas in mind for these!

The Modern Standards template set includes 8 layered 8.5x11 size templates in TIFF and PSD formats.

I love the modern style of these templates. I’ve had some customer requests for rectangle layouts in standard paper size (8.5x11). Even though I’m a “square scrapper” who generally uses 12x12 templates, I still have plenty of use for this size as well. I love mixing page protector sizes in my December Daily album. I also keep some binders of garden and school information so these will work well for those uses also. These are especially useful for homeschooling and traditional school projects. Finally, there’s no reason why these can’t be used on 12x12 pages as well. Be sure to check out my tutorial below to see lots of ways to use this size of template!

I also refreshed an older template set that was in my shop several years ago. It was previously named Scrapbook Lady Standards so check your files before ordering if you are a longtime customer. I love this updated Simple Standards set and have used these templates several times over the years.

I’m also working on a new video tutorial today to show you how to use these templates. I will also include tips for how to letter size templates on square layouts and vice versa. Be sure you are subscribed to my YouTube Channel so you can see this tutorial as soon as it’s released. I will also post it here on the blog on Friday.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these fun new templates. I can’t wait to see what you create with them!
