A Little September Update

September is here, and I wanted to share a quick update about this month's Learning collection.

The last few weeks have been unusually full around here. We've had a lot happening in our family, and I've also been dealing with a hand injury that has made spending long stretches of time designing more difficult than usual. As much as I wanted to have the new collection ready to welcome September, I finally had to admit that I needed a little more time.

In a way, it feels like a fitting ending to August's theme of Rhythms & Routines. Routines are wonderful, but real life doesn't always cooperate with our plans. Sometimes the rhythm changes, and we have to change along with it.

The good news is that the September collection is well underway, and I'm really enjoying how it is coming together. The theme is Learning, and the collection is called Lifelong Learning. It's inspired by books, curiosity, discovery, creativity, and the idea that we're never really finished learning.

Rather than rushing through the last pieces just to meet an arbitrary date, I'm giving myself a little extra time to finish it the way I want to.

I'll be sharing the new collection soon, along with September's posts and ideas for documenting Learning in your own life.

Thanks for being patient with me. I'm excited to show you what I've been working on!

And maybe this is a good reminder for all of us: sometimes adjusting the plan is simply part of the routine.
