Fall Fest 2022
This month has been crazy busy for me so far. I'm hoping it will start to slow down a bit now. We always celebrate Thanksgiving early, which has become our family's new tradition. We call our gathering "Fall Fest," and all my family members travel here from out of state and stay for at least a few days.
My August 2022 roundup
I'm a little late in getting my roundup done for last month, but I have a good excuse, it was baby month in August, and we were very focused on our new grandson. This roundup is one of my all-time favorites!
July 2022 roundup
This is probably the latest date I’ve ever finished my roundup for the previous month, but that’s totally ok with me. I’ve been busy being a new grandma and I’m very happy about that! You can see photos in my Instagram feed.
I’m glad to have July recorded now because it will be super fun for me to do my August roundup in just a few weeks. Here’s what July looked like in my world:
Mid-year check-in
The year is more than half over, so I thought it would be good to do a mid-year check-in to report and review my creative projects and life in general. It's beneficial to take a step back and look at where you are once in a while. It gives me perspective and motivation to figure out what I still want to accomplish.
My June 2022 roundup
I’m glad to finally have my June 2022 month-in-review done! I used my own roundup prompts to inspire me to create a two-page summary layout for the month.
When health gets in the way of creativity
If you follow me on Instagram, you will already know that I’ve had some health struggles recently. It all ties back to a lifelong issue I've had with my legs.
Here are the posts that tell my story:
Born with crooked legs
Missed 3 months of high school because of surgery
May 2022 month-in-review roundup
I’m always happy to get my month-in-review roundup done, and it’s fun to see photos and memories in a scrapbook layout. I used my own roundup prompts to inspire me to create a two-page summary layout for the month.
April 2022 is now in the books!
My roundup is now “in the books,” as you say when referring to something being complete. However, it’s not actually in a book yet… that part will come later when I get my photo book printed for the year. April is documented, though! I used my own roundup prompts to inspire me to create a two-page summary layout for the month. I will create a few more pages about our trip to Kanab, but I love that most of my month is represented here.
The month of March in scrapbook form
I’ve got the month of March all wrapped up and I love the month-in-review approach more than ever! If you aren’t familiar with my monthly roundups, check out this post. There is even a video tutorial included! I had a lot of great photos from March, so a two-page spread was a great format.
