I’ve always wanted to create a list of photo ideas and keep it on my phone to refer back to when I’m trying to capture something special in the middle of an extra busy season. I finally took some time to put one together. I hope you will find it inspiring and helpful!

I love making holiday treats—it’s always a joy to revisit those special recipes that only come out this time of year. This project originally was part of our 2009 holiday season, but I never transferred it to this blog. So, I’m excited to share it with you here now! I’ve also included some notes at the end on how to make a gluten-free version since I was diagnosed with celiac disease almost four years ago.

December is a wonderful month to focus on memory keeping because there are so many opportunities to capture both the festive and the everyday moments. It’s a time of year when traditions, celebrations, and little joys come together to create something truly special.

The end of the month is here, and that means it's time to reflect on the month and all the wonderful memories you've made. One of the biggest tricks we play on ourselves is thinking we will remember everything. We don't need to write it down, right? But does that even work for the grocery store? Of course not! Memories are important, so don't let yourself fall into that trap. At the end of each month, take a few minutes to document your memories.

Roundups. Recaps. Reviews. You can call them whatever you like, but the general idea is the same. Just take some time to write down what has happened recently, add some pictures, and call it good! That’s what I do at the end of each month, and I plan to keep going strong with this practice as long as possible.

The other day, I shared some little details about our house on Instagram that make it feel like home. It inspired me to turn those moments into a scrapbook page—and that’s exactly what I did!

I’ve been voting by mail for years and have always felt a little left out that I didn’t get an “I Voted” sticker. I’ve seen a lot of posts online from people who have mentioned that they will miss this little token of celebration this year as they vote by mail. Even the included stickers aren’t all that exciting, and I can’t print them out for creative projects. So, I created this file of printable “I Voted” stickers to share with all of you.
