Holiday eats and treats

I have to admit, one of my favorite parts of the holiday season is all the treats and goodies. As a cookie lover, I find this time of year full of temptations. As a young mom, I hosted a neighborhood cookie exchange every year—it was a fun tradition.

Over the years, my baking has evolved, especially since I went gluten-free in 2021. Even so, I’m excited to whip up some of my favorite recipes with a few tweaks to fit my diet. I’m also constantly searching for new recipes to try, so I’m using this post as the perfect excuse to share some festive foods that look absolutely delicious!

Cranberry Brie pull-apart bread from Half Baked Harvest

Antipasto Wreath From Simply Scratch

From Baked in AZ. - this is similar to a cheeseball that my mom makes and it’s one of my favorites.

Muddy Buddy Peanut Butter cookies from Batch Cookies

Reindeer Bark - my notes on perfecting it are in this post

Even simple or store-bought treats look fancy when displayed like this! Candy Charcuterie Boards from Salty Blond

Gingerbread bundt cake from Two Peas & Their Pod

Reindeer Food Chex Mix from Joy Food Sunshine

My mom’s meltaways - it isn’t Christmas without these! And just a note for anyone who is gluten free, I’ve been able to replicate these using GF Jules all purpose flour. Yummy!
