January Roundup Layouts: Documenting Growth and Fresh Starts

I wasn’t sure how to tackle my January roundup layouts, because we had a pretty uneventful month, and a lot of what did happen, wasn’t anything that I wanted to publicly blog about. I know a lot of you can relate to this, so I hope it’s helpful to see how I approached it.

Scrapbook layout focused on growth and renewal with photos, journaling, and reflection from January.

Leaning into a theme

I loved having a theme for the month (Growth & Renewal) because that gave me ideas for journaling and documenting. I didn’t have as many photos to share this time, so I included more journaling.

I used my Growth and Renewal collection for the layouts.

Why I Love Roundups

Monthly roundups are one of the most useful memory keeping tools I use. They don’t need to be complicated. A few photos, some notes, and a little reflection go a long way.

These pages don’t capture everything, but they capture enough. And that’s what makes them so meaningful over time.

If you’re creating your own January roundup, or even catching up later, remember that there’s no right way to do it. Focus on what stood out to you and what you want to remember.
