Holiday shopping - the enabler post

I've noticed this year that Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales have started earlier than ever. I like to keep up with financial news, and current reports say that last year's shipping and supply chain issues created so many shortages that retailers have stocked up for this year, only to find that inflation has slowed spending. Now there are surpluses. The good news is that we are getting a lot more sales!

I'm glad about this since I'm trying to finish the bulk of my holiday shopping next week since I will have ankle surgery in early December. If you are looking for ideas, you can find my gift guides here.

I also have some fantastic deals to share from some of my favorite creative companies. I'm an affiliate partner for a few of these, but not all. I never promote something that I don't love and use myself. I just like sharing the good stuff!

I just treated myself to a bunch of digital issues of my favorite Stampington publications. I love browsing beautiful magazines and thought it would be more convenient to have some on my iPad to inspire me during my upcoming recovery. Also, Stampington doesn't run a lot of sales, so this is a good time to shop for gifts (or yourself).

Want to know what I bought? I purchased instant downloads of Bella Grace New Generation Issue 4, Book Of Lists Volume 1, and Field Guide To Everyday Magic Issues 9 & 10. I also got A Somerset Holiday Volume 15, Somerset Studio Autumn 2022, Mingle Autumn 2022, and Art Journaling Autumn 2022. Can’t wait to be inspired!

Savvy shoppers know this is a good time of year to buy Adobe products. I adore Photoshop Elements, and the new 2023 version is a great one (I will review it soon). Several of my readers watch for it at Costco on Black Friday. I personally don't have the patience for big crowds so I like to buy online. However, I noticed it's already available at a really low price, so there's no need to wait!

The bundled version with Premiere Elements is also on sale now.

I'm also an Adobe Creative Cloud user because I love Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator. They have some Black Friday specials going right now. In the US only: Creative Cloud All Apps for Individuals - Save over 25% off for first-time CCI All Apps subscribers. Creative Cloud Student and Teacher – save up to 71% off the commercial price for first-time subscribers.

Another way I'm hoping to make the most of my recovery time is by catching up on several online courses I've previously purchased. One of my favorite learning resources is Miss Freddy and her various courses and e-books. I've learned so much from her! She doesn't hold sales very often, so this is a good time to go shopping on her site. ALL of her digital resources are discounted today through December 5th.

Have you found any great deals on anything fun? I’d love to know!
