Sometimes in the waves of change we find our true direction

I set a goal for myself to create at least a few art journaling pieces each quarter and I’m so glad I made this a priority. This is a creative activity that I truly love and I enjoy every part of the process. I put it together as a 2 page spread for my in-progress art journaling photobook.

I used the June Mixed Media set from The Lily Pad for everything except the background paper - that came from the May Mixed Media set.

It was a pleasant surprise for me to find the word art in this kit because it was just what I had been thinking about. There have been many waves of change in my life this year (as always) but I do feel like they have helped me find my true direction. It’s a beautiful way to think about the ocean of life. ❤️
