I’m so grateful that I started this layout early in the month and kept adding to my journaling cards as the month progressed because as I reached the end of May, I didn't feel like working on this project. A short break

I’ve fallen a bit behind on my blogging this week and I’m having a hard time getting a post together today for some reason. We are getting ready to do some traveling over Memorial Day weekend so I’m thinking this is a good time for an official break. I’ll be back on Wednesday the 29th.

It's not OK to share files

I was quite surprised when I got an email about a week ago asking me if I was willing to share any digital files. I thought it was pretty bold for someone to ask a designer, but I know it happens more than I would like to think. It made me realize that it’s important to review digi scrapping etiquette (and legal terms) once in a while.

Craft a Life You Love

I’ve been reading a lot of great books this year and one of my favorites was Craft a Life You Love by Amy Tangerine. I’ve followed Amy’s work for several years, but I didn’t know much about her background or how she got started in the scrapbooking industry. Her story is fascinating and her philosophy on crafting is so refreshing. I felt so inspired after I read this book that I ordered another copy and sent it to my daughter.
