I’m traveling right now and will be for the next few days so I apologize that I don’t have much happening on my blog this week. I definitely have some great things planned for when I return.

I’ve got the month of February all wrapped up and I’m loving the month-in-review approach more than ever! If you aren’t familiar with my monthly roundups, be sure to check out this post. There is even a video tutorial included! I had a lot of stories to tell from February, so my pages have a lot of journaling on them. Those are my favorite kind of layouts because I love including so many details that I know we will all be grateful for when we look at these pages in the future.

I realized the other day that the photo I’ve been using for my “about” page (now updated) was from 2016. Somehow, 2016 was six years ago! How did that happen? I decided I better update it with a new one so I took a quick selfie using portrait mode on my iPhone. I’m trying to be better about getting in front of the camera this year so it was a good exercise.

I don’t really feel ready to start the new year until I get my last roundup done from the previous one. It felt good to finish up December of 2021 and know that I did a roundup (and scrapbook pages) for every single month last year! This is a habit that I love so much and that really makes my memory keeping a lot easier.

I’m going to be taking this week off from blogging so I can have a little extra holiday time. I’ll be back on December 27th and I have lots of great stuff planned for the new year. I hope you have a happy holiday season!

November seemed to go by fast this year for our family. We were lucky to have a visit from Riley & Ryan and their dog Piper. We got our booster shots, decorated our house for the holidays, and enjoyed the warm weather. We even ate outside on November 30th - very unusual for Utah!

I already shared this on social media yesterday, but I wanted to have it here on my blog as well. I completed my October roundup page and it always makes me happy to finish a roundup! You don't have to do your roundup in layout form, but that's how I love to do mine. I love combining the memories, news, photos, and moments of the past month into a page that can go in our family photo books.

I finally got my September roundup done! I usually do this no later than the first week of the following month, but I got behind due to our early Thanksgiving celebration + a tiny bit of laziness. I was determined to keep up my long-standing habit (haven't missed a month since January of 2006!) and I'm so glad I took the time to get this done!
