Top Scrapbooking Blogs
Did you know this is my 20th (yes, TWENTY!) year of blogging? It’s hard to believe how long I’ve been part of the blog world. I know I haven’t posted as much lately while recovering from surgery, but I’ve been around for a long time—long enough to see many of the blogs I once loved disappear, though a few have truly stood the test of time. I’ve never promoted my blog much, but I’d like to change that. So you can imagine my surprise (and delight!) when I discovered my blog was listed on Feedspot’s 60 Best Scrapbooking Blogs and Websites in 2025. What a lovely honor!
My Published Works in Scrapbooking Books and Magazines
I haven't had many scrapbook pages published in books and magazines, but I also haven't submitted many for publication. I never seem to get around to sending them in, and nowadays, there really aren’t many print publications around. I love to post my layouts here on my blog, on YouTube, Instagram & Facebook, so I hope you follow me on my socials.
Number of followers and a few quick questions
I’m wrapping up STATS week here by sharing my number of followers on a few social media platforms. I’ve never been one to make a big push for followers. I honestly don’t think it’s the most important thing. What’s important to me is having a community that is rewarding to interact with. I’ve been so lucky to have readers who reach out with kind remarks and ideas. I love that!
Top 5 Designs in 2023
I am continuing with STATS week here and wanted to share my top five designs in 2023 (based on sales). It’s difficult for me to predict which designs will sell the most. I can’t be objective about this topic because I spend so many hours of design time on each item. I grow to love each of my collections, and I always think I’ve found a new favorite until the next one starts to take shape.
It was fun to take a look at the numbers to see which of my 2023 designs sold the most. I was surprised by several of these!
Where my readers are located
Continuing with my statistical recap 2023, let’s look at where my readers are located. I only check this data once or twice a year, and I know that 2023 was the first time that Canada and the UK dropped behind Sweden. Historically, my greatest number of readers have come from the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Australia. Let’s hear it for Sweden and the Philippines moving up! I just realized that the dark blue slice of the pie doesn’t show a name and percentage. It’s supposed to be Australia at 3.1%
Which device do you use to visit my site?
I’m guessing you probably realize that I love to recap, roundup, and review various parts of my life. Did you know that I love statistics? I have always had a keen interest in stats and am always looking for them. Unfortunately, I had a lousy professor when I took statistics in college. That and my fear of upper-level college math kept me from pursuing this interest. So, I ended up with a degree in English literature, a minor in anthropology, and a fondness for statistical information.
12 fun facts about me
I realized the other day that the photo I’ve been using for my “about” page (now updated) was from 2016. Somehow, 2016 was six years ago! How did that happen? I decided I better update it with a new one so I took a quick selfie using portrait mode on my iPhone. I’m trying to be better about getting in front of the camera this year so it was a good exercise.
Have you heard of Campsite?
I’m excited about a new tool I found last week when I visited someone’s Instagram profile page. It’s called Campsite and it’s free and helps you put all of your important links in one place. This is important when you can only include one link in your profile - which is the case with platforms like Instagram and Twitter. My blog has always been my homebase for all of my links, but in a mobile app connected world, it’s nice to have an easy way to help others find all of your resources.
Here’s what my Campsite looks like. When you go to the actual page, all the links and icons are clickable.
Do you use Bloglovin?
I’ve used Feedly for years to follow blogs, but I’ve recently been enjoying Bloglovin and seem to get more followers there. I’m updating my rss feed there with this post.
I especially like using their mobile app.
