Last Day of December - time for a roundup!
Can you believe we made it to the end of 202?! That’s cause for celebration! This is going to be quite the year to document. If you’ve been doing your roundups each month, it will be really easy. If you haven’t, that’s ok too. It’s never too late to start and the end of the year is a great time to do a roundup. There are tons of recap news articles out there that will help you list the events of 2020,
My November Roundup
Before I get scrapping December moments and memories, I told myself I would get my November roundup completed. It helps me to set these types of mini-goals or conditions to hold myself accountable. November was definitely a tough month, but I’m so glad to have it documented!
Christmas Trees to Remember - 2020
My longtime readers know that I have had a tradition since 2013 of doing a different themed Christmas tree each year. We started this tradition when we moved into our new house and had room for a really big 12 foot Christmas tree! It ended up being a really big project each year, but also a fun one. We would have neighbors stop by just to see our tree. Of course, it’s something I’ve been thinking about all year since we moved into our new home in February. I got rid of the 12 foot tree since I don’t have a spot for it in our new place. I’ve been excited to downsize the tree project! …

It’s my favorite memory keeping tool and so many of my readers have made it a routine in their own lives as well.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 - new release and review
Every year, I make sure to check out the new Adobe Photoshop Elements update and review it here on my blog. I appreciate that Adobe has given me the opportunity to work with a review copy this year so I could play around with the new features and share my thoughts.
October 2020 roundup complete
Since it feels like we are already 10 weeks into November, I figured I should get my October roundup done. October was another crazy month for us as the numbers in Utah have spiraled out of control. We voted by mail-in ballot and took them to an official dropbox. We watched way too much news and lots of tv shows and movies. The weather was pretty nice most of the month so we took a lot of walks. We did have a record-setting cold spell and even a little bit of snow. We all got our flu shots and I got a pneumonia shot since I'm at risk with all my sickness last year and having diabetes.
a fun treat to make for Election Day
I have a tasty and very easy treat project to help you make Election Day a little more fun! I don’t know about you, but I’m coping with election stress by carb-loading. Seems like a good idea, right?! I kept this really simple by using a boxed cake mix and a can of prepared frosting. I put the frosting in an icing bag with a star decorator tip and just swirled it on top of the cupcakes. A few festive sprinkles combined with my free voting stickers added the perfect finishing touch!
I printed out the stickers on Avery 5293 round labels but you could also just print them on a thicker paper and cut them out with a circle punch or a cutting machine. I put one on each side of a toothpick and ended up with some really cute toppers!
Posting the October roundup prompts a few days early
The end of October is just a few days away and I’m posting my roundup prompts a bit early since I have 2 new releases coming to my shop later today. Also, people tend to get busy with Halloween and forget about doing roundups so it helps to get an early start.
