Getting caught up in why you can't dive in and do something you've wanted to tackle is easy. We all do it. We tell ourselves that we will wait until we have more time, money, and energy. Then it just gets harder to start.

I’m doing something a little different here on my blog this week. To celebrate Digital Scrapbooking Day this Saturday, October 1st, I’m going to post about memory keeping each day to get us all ready to celebrate the big event!

This month is speeding by and with only one week left to go, I wanted to give you a friendly reminder to think about your roundup.

The northern hemisphere celebrates the arrival of fall on the date of the autumnal equinox. Is it autumn where you are right now? What is the weather like on this date? Does it feel like summer still, or is it starting to cool off? Are the leaves changing yet? Take a picture outdoors today and write about the conditions and temperature.

I'm a little late in getting my roundup done for last month, but I have a good excuse, it was baby month in August, and we were very focused on our new grandson. This roundup is one of my all-time favorites!

The end of the month is here, so it’s time to do a month-in-review roundup. I love to take a memory inventory at the end of the month and document it all to add to our family albums.

I share several prompt images each month on the last day of the month. I’m also including a link to my video walkthrough of how to document your life month by month and a demonstration of how I do my own roundups.

Who else feels like the year starts going so much faster when the calendar hits September? It’s crazy that August is almost over. There’s just about a week left so I wanted to be sure to remind you to keep the roundup prompts in your mind and get out your camera to capture some everyday memories!

This is probably the latest date I’ve ever finished my roundup for the previous month, but that’s totally ok with me. I’ve been busy being a new grandma and I’m very happy about that! You can see photos in my Instagram feed.
