Thinking about documenting December
I’ve never done a full December Daily album or made it through a daily documenting of the month of December. I have definitely created a lot of holiday layouts with plenty of December pages. I’m honestly happy with the approach I’ve taken over the years and I’m grateful for all of the December memories I have taken the time to document. Even if I don’t totally follow along with the full December Daily idea, I get a TON of inspiration from watching what others are doing.
Create your own custom iPad decal covers
My husband and I both love our iPad Pro tablets. He has the 11 inch model and I have both the 11 inch (1st generation) and the 12.9 inch (5th generation). Yes, I know that’s excessive! Yes, he teases me about it. I haven’t decided which one I want to part with so I’ve ended up keeping them both. And I actually use both of them. Someday I will probably trade one of them in. That was my original plan, but I ended up liking both sizes. So for now I’m just leaning into the whole too many iPads thing. lol! I know I’m lucky to have more than I need in this area.
Some funnies to brighten up your day
Let’s start the week off with some giggles! Here are some funnies I’ve been saving to share here.
My October roundup
I already shared this on social media yesterday, but I wanted to have it here on my blog as well. I completed my October roundup page and it always makes me happy to finish a roundup! You don't have to do your roundup in layout form, but that's how I love to do mine. I love combining the memories, news, photos, and moments of the past month into a page that can go in our family photo books.
How to make a personalized color board book photo album
I have a new template set in the shop today and it’s a really fun one! The Color Stories Template Set is a complete set of templates to help you create a fun mini album project based on colors. It’s perfect for a holiday gift for any age and is especially fun for little ones.
Time to think about your October Roundup
October 2021 felt like one of the fastest months I’ve experienced in a long time. Seriously, where did the time go? I truly love October so I’m kind of sad to say goodbye to it. I’m hoping November will let us keep some fall weather for awhile before we head into winter.
Halloween Inspiration and Ideas
Halloween is almost here and if you are like me, you are looking for easy ways to make it more festive. Here are some of my favorite resources and ideas:
New video tutorial for 8.5 x 11 size templates and rectangle scrapbooking
I’m really excited to share my newest video tutorial with you! It’s all about how, when, and why to use standard size (8.5x11) templates for scrapbooking and other projects. I also show how to change this size into a square layout and how to use 12x12 templates to create letter size pages. I hope you find lots of inspiration and fun ideas from watching!
Are you a rectangle scrapbooker?
There are many scrapbookers who love a rectangle page format - meaning a standard 8.5x11 paper size. These types of layouts fit in binder-style scrapbooks and are very versatile. Many love this size because it’s easy to print at home. While I’m usually a square scrapper (12x12 or smaller size), I also love having the option for letter size scrapbooking. I especially used this format when working with my kids back in our homeschool days. There are so many options for this size of page and now I have some standard size templates in my shop!
