Finished my November roundup
I love getting my roundup done right after the month ends. Feels so good! November was a good month overall. I finally found a doctor who could give me some answers about my foot issues. We had some nice family time. We enjoyed the space between Halloween and Christmas. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in November (we do ours early in October) so it was nice to have a low-key month.
November Roundup Time
The end of the month is here, so it’s time to do a month-in-review roundup. I love to take a memory inventory at the end of the month and document it all to add to our family albums.
I share several prompt images each month on the last day of the month. I’m also including a link to my video walkthrough of how to document your life month by month and a demonstration of how I do my own roundups.
Documenting Magical Memories
I was so excited to get my new Simply Magical collection up in the shop, I forgot to post about it here on my blog! There are so many ways to use the supplies in this collection. I can’t wait to see what you create!
November is on the way out
Thanksgiving is tomorrow and December is only a week away. The holiday season is here and I want to be sure to keep up on documenting everyday life before it all gets too hectic.
Holiday shopping - the enabler post
I've noticed this year that Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales have started earlier than ever. I like to keep up with financial news, and current reports say that last year's shipping and supply chain issues created so many shortages that retailers have stocked up for this year, only to find that inflation has slowed spending. Now there are surpluses. The good news is that we are getting a lot more sales!
Ankle Update
I've struggled with a swollen ankle since I stepped off my porch wrong in June of 2021. Now, I have finally found an answer (hopefully!) after 18 months, six different doctors, boots, canes, physical therapy, cortisone shots, multiple MRIs and x-rays, and an EMG test.
On a roll - another roundup done!
While working on my September roundup, I also decided to get going on my October recap. It's often easier to keep the momentum rather than stop and start again. It's good to remember that when you are being creative. So take advantage of those times when you feel ready to create!
Getting caught up on September’s Roundup
It can be tricky to go back in time and reconstruct the events for a scrapbook page. However, my memory roundup routine has taught me to look through my calendars and monthly notes to easily jog my memory. As a result, I was able to put together this two-page spread about September, even though we are well into November now.
