October is almost over
The end of the month is almost here, and it's time to take a look back on all that has happened. I love to take a memory inventory at the end of each month and document it all in our family albums. If you don't already have a system for keeping track of your memories, I encourage you to start one. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, but it will be a valuable way to preserve your family's history.
September 2023 Memory Roundup
I love doing layouts that document one month at a time because I don't have to follow a certain theme. I don't even worry about whether all my photos and cards match perfectly because I'm more interested in telling the stories of our lives for that time frame. It's a very fun way to do memory-keeping! We worked and played really hard in September! I’m so happy to capture our memories for the month.
October and Halloween Memories + DSD sale
October is such a fun month for our family. We go all out for Halloween, and we also get to celebrate Alex’s birthday. I love that the days are getting cooler and the autumn sun shines on all the changing leaves and landscapes. It’s one of my favorite times of year for outdoor photography.
I hope you enjoy the coming month and all of my brand-new designs!
So long September
It always feels good to close out the month, and this one is no exception. As we wrap things up, I encourage you to take a few minutes to document your memories. It's a great way to capture the things you've learned, the people you've met, and the things you've accomplished.
August 2023 Memory Roundup
I love doing layouts that roundup one month at a time because I don't feel like I have to follow a certain theme. I don't even worry about whether all my photos and cards match perfectly because I'm more interested in telling the stories of our life for that period of time. It's a very fun way to do memory-keeping! August was a very full month for us, with lots of travel and family time. I feel blessed to have such a month!
September and School Memories
What does September look like for you? How do you plan to celebrate and document the extraordinary and everyday moments? Whatever your plans, I have some fun new supplies to help you make the most of your memories.
New book club selection - Steal Like An Artist
It's time to announce my book club's newest selection, and I can’t wait to talk about this book. I read it a few years ago, which changed my outlook on creativity. It’s very short but really impactful. I hope you will join me in reading it and putting some of the ideas to work in your own life.
Adios August
The end of the month is here, and that means it's time to reflect on the month and all the wonderful memories you've made. One of the biggest tricks we play on ourselves is thinking we will remember everything. We don't need to write it down, right? But does that even work for the grocery store? Of course not! Memories are important, so don't let yourself fall into that trap. At the end of each month, take a few minutes to document your memories.
Book Club Discussion - The Art of Making Memories
I haven’t forgotten about my book club, and I’m happy to finally be able to report on this book. I chose The Art of Making Memories by Meik Wiking for the latest selection, and I read it all the way through and then listened to it on audiobook. I love it when authors narrate their own audiobooks. It’s so much more meaningful to hear it in their own voice.
