How to choose photos and supplies for scrapbook layouts
I know it’s only been a few days since my last tutorial, but I’ve been wanting to get on a schedule where I publish a new tutorial when I release a brand new collection. I finally got there! This is one I get a lot of questions about - how to choose photos and supplies for scrapbook layouts. You can start with the photos or with the supplies - or use a combination approach. There are so many options and I want to help you keep them as easy as possible. Watch how I put together 5 different layouts and gain more confidence in your ability to create your very own pages.
Hello Yellow!
Isn’t yellow a fun color? I love it and I’m so excited to introduce Mellow Yellows - my newest Color Stories collection! You can shop right from this post, or head over to the shop if you prefer.
Why and how to use shadows on digital layouts
This is a bit of a polarizing topic among scrapbookers (both paper and digital) but this video should help you figure out your own feelings on digital shadows. I share why you should use shadows (and when you don’t need to) and also how to use a simple basic digital shadow. I even teach you how to copy my own shadow style to use on your own projects. I hope you enjoy watching!

Time for some funny stuff
It’s a great time to share some of the funny stuff I’ve been saving over the past month or two. I keep a folder to file these types of “important” images to and it’s getting pretty full. Let’s share some giggles, shall we?
My April Roundup
I finished my April Roundup page over the weekend and I’m glad to have these details recorded for our memory books. Sometimes it’s really tough to document the difficult news, but there were also bright spots as well and I want to remember both sides of the equation. As a household, we are now all fully vaccinated and it sure feels good!
Happy International Scrapbook Day!
I’m popping in here with a rare Saturday post so I can wish you all a Happy International Scrapbook Day! This is the perfect day to celebrate being a memory maker and a memory keeper.
Groovy Greens - a brand new Color Stories collection
I’m super excited to share another Color Stories collection with you. This one is called Groovy Greens and I think you’re going to love it. I felt so much joy while creating these papers, cards, stamps, and templates. Oh, and the printables are super fun as well. Great way to add some color and whimsy to your home and creative projects. Let’s take a look at all the pieces!
Posting the April roundup prompts a few days early
I’m sharing the April roundup graphic today because the next few days are very busy ones in the world of scrapbooking. Saturday, May 1st is International Scrapbook Day! That means I will be having a storewide sale (which only happens twice a year. The next one is not until October). I will also have a new collection hitting the shop and plenty of fun ideas to share in my latest newsletter. Get ready for a great weekend!
